Supco Universal SH271 Refrigerator Defrost Heater. This heater has a glass element design. These glass heaters are approximately 8" long. This glass defrost heater uses 650 watts and 115 volts. The defrost heater melts frost from the evaporator fins during the automatic defrost cycle.

Supco Universal Glass Heaters are designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications for superb performance and reliability. Constructed of high quality Vycor glass with end seals of high temperature molded silicone. Protective oxide coated element wire for longer lasting heater life. Manufactured to proper lengths, mountings and electrical OEM specifications. Similar to WR49X249 and WR49X391, 32160P and 34161 as well as GH271.
