This water filter cartridge reduces lead, chlorine, cysts, mercury, turbidity, particulates, and some herbicides and pesticides, without removing fluoride. It improves the taste and odour of your water and ice.
Specifications:
Filter Life: 6 months or 300 gallons (whichever comes first)
Flow Rate: 0.5 gallons per minute
Operating Pressure: 30-120 psi
Operating Temperature: 33-100 °F
How To Replace :
1. Remove old filter cartridge by grasping and turning to the left about 1/4 turn
2. Apply the month sticker (included) to the cartridge as a reminder to replace the filter with 6 months and remove red cap
3. Align unlabeled side of filter with the indictor line so that it can be inserted into the filter cover
4. Turn the cartridge 1/4 turn to the right to lock it into place - you will feel a stop and the locked symbol should now be lined up with the indicator line
5. Run water through the dispenser for 5 minutes to purge the system
How To Reset The 'Change Filter' Light:
1. Press and hold the 'Ice' and 'Child Lock' buttons at the same time for 3 seconds. The light should then turn green.
For best performance and to ensure clean and safe drinking water, it is highly recommended to change your filter every 6 months.
