Cool white 4100 Kelvin CFLs increase the contrast on the page when reading, making them ideal for work areas such as office spaces, public areas and home task lighting or for showcasing merchandise.
Plug in lamps provide even light distribution and stay brighter longer with an average life of 12 000 hours. They are ideal for interior lighting. Operating temperatures: -10°C / 14°F to 70°C / 158°F. Non-Integrated Lamps have the ballast permanently installed in the fixture; therefore they themselves are not equipped with a ballast. 2-Pin models have an internal starter and are to be used with magnetic ballasts.
Compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) provide the same amount of light (lumens) as regular incandescent lamps but have a lower wattage rating. This means they use less energy and cause less pollution.
