Whirlpool Genuine OEM 8212662 Dryer Louvered Vent. The Dryer Louvered Vent connects the appliance’s exhaust port to the external exhaust vent to safely remove hot air during the dryer cycle. This flush-mounted vent is constructed of heavy-duty rigid metal with an opening that measures 4-in W. The included pipe measures 10-in L and is fitted with a back-draft flapper.Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, minor disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience.
